Quoting Clandestine:

"JD Vance just MASSACRED Tim Walz!

Walz looked like a deer in the headlights, while Vance was cool, calm, and collected. Vance is operating on a mental plane far above Walz.

Then when you add Walz’s gaffes about befriending “school shooters”, learning to govern in China, the horrible optics from some of the weird faces he was making, the contradictions, the lies, and the head-scratching answers; it’s hard to describe this as anything but a colossal catastrophe for the Harris campaign.

Vance came off as understanding and genuine. He was sharp, direct, concise, and stayed even keel, displaying his great leadership qualities, and addressing the core problems Americans are actually concerned about. It was a night and day difference standing next to Walz.

Hopefully, this performance will translate to more support for Trump, particularly in the Rust Belt battleground states that Vance was tasked with appealing to.

What a performance from JD Vance."

Walz’s record of just simply politically dumb sand selfish actions as well as fabrications

proceeds his debate posture -thereby seriously challenging his present stance-

Walz didn't win many hearts or minds. Dem women and guys are swooning over JD's make up choices and his "pretty eyes." JD may bring in uncommitted female and gay votes. Walz was Bruce Willis. JD was Leonardo DiCaprio, not as masculine as Walz but more attractive to women and gays.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised certain segments of the population are so unabashedly superficial. Interesting to know what it takes to get their attention (and hopefully their votes).

I actually made a point of noticing Vance's eyes last night after the recent accusations of his wearing eyeliner. I don't think he uses any eye makeup. Could it be that many people are just so unaccustomed to seeing such intensely blue eyes

// Oops! Pressed send prematurely! //

that they think it's a trick of some sort?

I'm more impressed with Vance's weight loss since his selection. And I honestly have to laugh at the thought of Walz as masculine (when I'm extremely suspicious of his true "orientation").

The MSM fake news seem to be mostly saying that Vance won and although I preferred Vance I think it was a draw. Walz humanized himself when he called himself "a knucklehead sometimes." That was very clever. Walz looked natural and reassuring as a dour old white man. Vance performed very well as one would expect of a Yale graduate. He didn't come across as Skull and Bones but I think hecame across a bit too "slick Willie." Walz's performance was nowhere near as bad as people were predicting it would be. Walz had a clear victory with women on abortion. I'm keen to see how non-partisan voters rated the debate. Perhaps I'm wrong and it wasn't a draw and Vance won the battle.

You make some good points though I felt Walz was so far out of his league on the same stage as Vance that the thought of him possibly "one heartbeat away" from the Presidency is bewildering and alarming.

For sure. One heartbeat away!

The fake news are claiming Vance won on style but lost on substance, in contrast to Harris who they claim won her debate against Trump on both style and substance.

Comrade K had the answers for the debate. She went to Philly that week to practice. You think that she wasn't in the venue during that time. They had things set up way before Trump arrived. Well, even JOE was in Philly that

Walz undoubtedly satisfied his media pimps with the "substance" of his bumbling content.

Why is ABORTION the killing of babies so important? Killing BABIES wasn't so important in other elections. The Leftists want more abortions so the selling of baby organs rise.

It's a big business, you know. JD won that debate. Walz is a Communist just like

Comrade K. That's all we need to know.

Well Lynn, you make great points here (profit) but I don’t think women have a bond for their unborn children any more. You actually answered your own question about “why”. It’s called lazy, excuses, irresponsible and selfishness so they kill their UNBORN. They don’t want the burden…let’s just kill it. All excuses for your dumbass action. And they call that “healthcare” 😂 it’s a joke. Just close your damn legs…problems solved. But like anyone with sense, there are certain situations like rape and incest but women are so evil and the state has given them license to kill innocence. They think there is nothing wrong with it cause it’s legal, but ever notice they do not want to talk about it either🤷‍♂️. That’s because they are ashamed! My SIL had three by her own husband and she thought the people, the conservatives in the family would not find out. Foolish and evil BITCH! She’s an old and sick leftist hag! I’d hate to be in her shoes when God is sentencing her. Poor little innocent babies🙏🙏.

She is full of so much hate for a man that’s just a man that believes in our freedom🤷‍♂️. You can’t fix stupid and you damn sure can’t fix hate unless you love the Lord!

It's mostly women and uncommitted voters who care about abortion although substantial numbers of Republcans are pro-abortion too. Walz was politically astute to instance supposed actual cases of a woman who died as well as one who was raped and impregnated by her stepfather. Many women are not happy to hear about women dying.

What I want to know is why the BABY is the one being left out here. In Walz's

Now that some hours have elapsed it's becoming clear that JD Vance won the hearts of even some Dem women and gays, partly due to his "pretty eyes" and the perception that he uses eyeliner. He's reportedly being begged for make-up tips. This comment below by a Talor Swift fan commenting in the Daily Mail is a classic:

"I am a Taylor Swift fan, but even I can tell you that she picked the wrong candidate: man, that JD Vance is so YUM, if he were single, she'd be on top of him like mold on a cool air-conditioning unit. Let's tell all the Swifties we don't need to be brain-less sheep and vote like the Snake. Pass it on, she's wrong this time!"

JD Vance's eyeliner distracts Walz VP debate viewers as they beg him for make-up tips

JD Vance and Tim Walz faced off in the vice presidential debate on Saturday night - but many viewers were too distracted by Vance's eyeliner to pay attention to the policies

Very amusing!

Fun to read the 'eye-opening' positive comments in favor of Vance on the Daily Mail article. A good sign.

The DM reports even disgraced former Congressman George Santos weighed in (interestingly with 'technical' commentary using terms more common among make-up artists and models). It's his (diversity) opinion that Vance is make-up free.

Vance may turn out to be this election cycle's JFK or Dan Quayle, appealing to the uninformed on the basis of their sex appeal alone.

I suspect the Taylor Swift fan I quoted is a gay male. Taylor does not seem to be physically attracted to feminized men. It's interesting that Vance is seen as "pretty" rather than "handsome." It's good though if women and gays are inclined more now to vote for him.

: ) I share your suspicion.

I'd say Vance is an above-average looking regular guy but not someone who sparks my interest physically.

Wrt Taylor's boyfriends, the brawny football player seems to be the anomaly. Her publicly flaunted exes include the following more delicate men, not that there's anything wrong with that...

English actors Joe Alwyn & Tom Hiddleston; boy-bander Harry Styles; Conor Kennedy, son of RFK Jr; and American celebrities Jake Gyllenhall, John Mayer, Corey Monteith and Taylor Lautner.

Maybe it's real love this time with Travis Kelce the Pfizer spokesman. Who knows? I hope so if that's what she wants. A lifetime as a childless cat lady seems like a sad fate. (He seems Ike a bonehead to me.)

Just a 1% help with women and undecided would be a game changer, coupled with current events of Helene, Iran, and the doc strike and it could be over for Harris.

Vance could have hit harder at Kamala and made AWalz look worse. He missed many opportunities.

He was focused on helping his own image and someone who could be POTUS if something happened to Trump.

TBH, if Trump was assassinated now, I think JD would beat Kamala. "They" may call off the assassinations as a result.

I was hoping at the end, Vance would have asked for a 2nd debate - on Fox - where it wouldn't be 3 on 1 like these past 2 debates. Or maybe a foursome, so Waltz can hold Kamala's hand.

Paul: I am in PA (Harrisburg). When JD Vance now goes to PA, MI and WI, he will now get huge crowds and really help. Already some better polls have Trump winning in PA and WI, especially after factoring in that pollsters are underweighting Republicans by several percent.

Atlas Intel has Trump sweeping the Rust Belt by an average of 3%.

A little more and we may have Republican Senators from PA and MI.

I am donating to them again, as soon as I finish this comment.

PS: I still prefer DeSantis for 2028, but JD should have a major role.

That was the biggest failure of Vance, but the biased moderators didn't help.

It was only one leftist Republican Senator in the end that supported that amnesty bill, Lisa Murkowski. Nearly every other Republican knew it was an amnesty bill.

Vance took the stance not to attack Tampon Tim and could have been much stronger calling out Kamala for stabbing Joe Biden in the back over the 25th Amendment.

Vance's goal was to come across as the Brad Pitt of politics, likeable by men, but especially by women. He won the Health Care argument, normally a Dem. advantage.

Vance missed missed many opportunities, but when watching the highlights, he did even better than when watching live.

Expand full comment

Ted Cruz is Ted Cruz that's why.

Expand full comment

JD reminds me of Brad Pitt. He is likeable to men, but especially to woman, after this debate. Ted Cruz is not as likeable.

But the more you get to know DeSantis, the more likeable he is. DeSantis as Governor has already "been there-done that", and received a record 19.5% victory in a state that Obama won twice.

DeSantis flew illegals to where the elitists live. He would do fine debating illegal immigration and he is the champion of debating DEI (aka Division, Exclusion and Indoctrination) and other Woke topics.

Expand full comment

DeSantis sold himself out to the Rhinos that call themselves Republicans. He's my Governor but he would never get my vote for President. I don't want a JEB! Bush puppet. Do you live in PA? I hope McCormick can beat Casey!

Expand full comment

100% false about DeSantis, but if Trump wins and Trump backs DeSantis over Vance, Ron will be unstoppable in 2028. He is waaaaay more experienced as head of the 13th largest world economy. But Vance reminds me of Brad Pitt, after this debate. Both men and especially women will like him.

I am in PA, and am about to donate again to McCormick, now that he finally came out with an ad proving that Casey is the one who is extreme on abortion.

If Trump can win PA by at least 3%, I think McCormick wins. Abortion is the issue that has damaged outcomes in PA by at least 4%.. Dr Oz never spoke out and that is why he lost against a terrible opponent for Senate in 2022.

The Senate Republican PACs are now advertising hard tying Casey to Biden/Harris.

McCormick is finally (that's why polls are tightening) having his own common sense ads, but he still hasn't debunked much of the Casey ads about McCormick being tied to China and not being a home grown Pennsylvanian.

P.S. I find men like Vance more "pro-women" (and therefore more attractive intellectually) than weakling men who cheerlead their sex-object women in their quest for serial, unlimited "abortion rights" disguised as "reproductive health care."
