I sit out in the winter, 25,000 iu/hr. Check my nanomolar levels periodically, and ensure I have a great balance of zinc and copper. Haven't been sick in over 40 years. My unjabbed, 17 year old daughter has NEVER been to a doctor. She grew up on organic avocados, strawberry gruel I made her, from our trees and land. her treats were cod liver oil and chlorella. Never been sick longer than 4 hours!

Modern, allopathic/Rockefeller/jewish medicine is as crooked, as everything else those people touch.

The only thing vitamin D is bad for is Big Pharma.

The best way to avoid avoid chronic disease, including diabetes, is:

1) Eat real food, including plenty of animal-based products and natural oils (like ghee and olive oil).

2) Avoid sugar, corn syrup, honey, and most other natural and artificial sweeteners.

3) Avoid processed foods, especially processed carbs and seed/vegetable oils.

4) Stop snacking and investigate intermittent fasting.

5) Get plenty of fresh air and sunshine, while avoiding sunburn.

6) Exercise moderately.

7) Sleep long enough each night.

8) Find non-drug and non-alcohol stress coping mechanisms that work for you.

That being said, I also take vitamin D supplements due to lack of sun in northern latitudes for about 7 months of the year.

Very conservative ng/l treatment target levels. When are we going to get some serious studies on 100ng/l +?. Anecdotally 30000iu/d is very safe

Vitamin D is fine, but this ignores the elephant in the room.

Just stop eating sugar, grains and starches.

Thank you for highlighting this!! Vitamin D is so important and powerful yet not taken seriously by the masses.

I am sure this info would have been helpful a long time ago. Of course, the MSM and left wing docs would not ever say Vit D is helpful. This is certainly not part of the oath those doctors took.

Pre-diabetes is another big pharma invention designed to sell more drugs. Coming soon, pre-pre-diabetes. Diabetes can been helped with diet changes. Take 5,000 IU of vitamin D and more if you want. What's his face (Jeff Bowles, I think)) took well over 200,000 IU's and didn't have any side effects.

So I always like to know the possible mechanism of how vitD has these effects. One idea is that since vitD is essential for immune system function, optimal vitD prevents the immune system from attacking pancreatic cells in predisposed people. With a dysfunctional immune system, depending on individual differences - genetic, environmental or interaction of factors - that dysfunction can result in an attack of the immune system on skin (psoriasis), endothelium (cardiovascular disease), islets of Langerhans (diabetes), myelin (multiple sclerosis), neurons (dementia) and so on. VitD is the master immune system regulator hormone, without adequate levels the immune system blindly attacks and can attack healthy tissue causing what we term autoimmune disease...which is better termed chronic vitD deficiency.

Good info. The only problem I have with it is the source. Based on the past couple of years or so I no longer trust these people, agencies, or what they put out. Even so, I do trust Vit. D so continue to take it.

I love bags. They are handy for many things. The only bags I hate are SCUMBAGS.
