I am thinking this has TERROR links to it and we need more answers; this was either pure ineptness, incompetence which I cannot believe on this scale, or it was a deliberate planned casualty event
The bridge did not have charges on it. What you are seeing is the high intensity lights on the bridge along its top short out as the cabling gets twisted. The real act of terrorism is the ship steering directly into the main support of the bridge. Look no further than a deliberate event. Most likely carried out by one of the 3 letter agencies denying terrorism. Last year there were hundreds of forest fires started by Eco Arsonists both in the US and Canada. Eco terrorism is on par with terrorism in general but not widely reported. This bridge collapse will be tied back to the current regime in the US.
It’s absolutely clear in the slow motion video the sparks at critical bridge joints occurred after the collapse had begun and thus were a consequence of it - not its cause. They were, as this poster claims, electrical arcing caused by separation of high tension electric cables servicing bridge illumination.
The container ship was steered directly into a path to cause a structural failure on a load bearing pylon that any engineer knows would cause total truss failure.
We need to get to the bottom of this deal, if in fact shaped charges were used the samec swedish mettalurgists will be able to trace the nano-thermite-

I saw this video, or one like it, posted several days ago. Then someone said it was footage of a different bridge.
Regardless, there were too many coincidences for this to be just an accident. It was a strategic sabotage event by the deep state. They would most likely use explosive charges to assure the collapse, and put the cause entirely on the ship.
The type of bridge it was did not require explosive charges. It needed to be hit hard at its most supportive element and that is exactly what happened. That hit doomed the whole structure to fail in an epic cascade event. Any engineer will tell you exactly that.

In watching the video, you will notice that the ship makes a right turn, and heads directly for the bridge. At the moment the ship straightens out, black smoke begins to pour from the stack, and stops only on contact with the bridge. This indicates that all systems were operational. The ship was moving forward under full power, accelerating as it went. Any diesel mechanic will tell you that diesel engines produce black smoke under acceleration. Modern trucks don't do this because of pollution control measures. Ships don't have this. The Mayday call, dropping anchor, calling tugboat, losing power, currents, wind, ad nauseum is all BS CYA!
I heard an analysis that said with this kind of bridge, a few of the pillars were the load bearing ones. Remove those and the whole thing comes down. And yes, I believe it's part of CCPs plan to weaken us from within. That includes transportation sabotage (East Palestine, OH and others), spy balloons, buying land next to military bases, spying on military bases (like the Chinese national illegal immigrant just arrested after he apparently broke into a military base), corrupting and capturing our Elites (hedge funds, Biden, gov't. officials, more), setting up Chinese "police stations" in NYC and elsewhere to intimate U.S. Chinese into cooperating with them, etc., etc. Maybe they have some people at Boeing as well, accounting for the safety mishaps in the planes, who knows. Everything must be suspect. The railhead of all this was the Unrestricted Warfare book two Chinese colonels (now generals I believe) wrote a while back, explaining how this kind of warfare works.
