Yet another nice theory. Seems to me that the simplest theory is probably the best. If you’ll recall Kennedy was burned by the Deep State with the Bay of Pigs. Needless to say he wasn’t going to be fooled again and he saw behind the curtain for a brief moment. Thus he wanted to reform (destroy) the system - much to the chagrin of the Deep State. Thus he had to be eliminated. The corrupt POS Johnson was more than happy to go along and to be installed as president. Interestingly it was Kennedy (who needed the South to win the election) chose Johnson - otherwise Johnson was bound to be indicted for corruption.
