But this flawed botched CDC test had the US blinded for 5 weeks and the virus seeded across the eastern and western flanks and spread and we did not know anything and other 3rd world nations were way ahead. It would have helped the response and we are really digging out of a hole from then; it was a catastrophic fatal flaw….the CDC botched testing devastated the US’s response it is still recovering from and in some sense, of all the Task Force people, Giroir deserves credit for he was dealing with inept incompetent people at CDC and NIH and really worked night and day to get the US out of the hole from the CDC’s failed test…the US never did. The test was failed and the PCR was even worse that became the standard, with a near 100% false positive above a cycle count threshold (amplification) of 24…the CDC knew this yet demanded over cycling of 40 and above. The CDC should be taken down to the studs and fumigated, it is a failed public health agency today, pure politics.
