According to a witness outside the venue, his efforts to point out a man climbing up the side of the building with a rifle slung over his shoulder were ignored by police and Secret Service agents several minutes before the shots were fired. But almost immediately after the shots were fired they killed the gunman. If the secret service was complicit in this shooting Trump is lucky to be alive.
