I recently saw a meme going around that read: "Never confuse education with intelligence, you can have a PhD and still be an idiot." I think the Covid response exposed how most people are incapable, lazy or unwilling to think for themselves. They are like mushrooms, just feed them bullshit and keep them in the dark.
Two yrs ago I sent the Cochrane Review study confirming masks did nothing to a mask Nazi friend. She said “well that’s one person’s opinion”. These people are not reachable.
I met with someone today whose client worked with Fauci for 20 years. He said that he wasn't particularly smart. He succeeded because he did what he was told. I would like to know who was pulling his strings.
I was hired as management without a mask and 3 months later I was told by HR that there were complaints because I was the only staff unmasked and if I didn’t start wearing a mask “only when I was communicating with club members not necessarily my staff” that I would lose my job. I told her I had provided them with a doctors note of exemption and that didn’t matter. I was escorted off the property (!!) like a criminal and I was terminated two days later. Looked for an attorney to take my case but no one would touch it. There’s no reasoning with crazy.
On page 5 of the OSHA Respiratory Protection Handbook it clearly states that surgical masks are not protective against small particulates. Another study that CDC sponsored in 2012 indicated that those wearing unvented surgical masks were being exposed to carbon dioxide levels as much as 7 times over the OSHA exposure limit. I contracted a CIH and established with legally defensible data that wearing surgical masks expose you to carbon dioxide levels 2 times over the OSHA exposure limit. I am irritated at every Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) that went along with this scam. They all knew that they could not provide an N95 mask to anyone if there was a concern of being over exposed to aerosols. C@vid spread as an aerosol. Instead the only practical exposure control is to either increase fresh air ventilation or fit test and make them wear a tight fitting respirator with a P100 filer. Something that went unreported was they were finding evidence of the virus in human fecal material. So there was another exposure pathway via flatulence and guess what? Most have two layers of cloth back there and if you can still smell the farts, then your mask isn't helping me and mine isn't helping you.
