There is a company, Enovix, working on architecture to stop that from happening, but it could be a year or two before consumers have access to that tech. In the mean time, people are at the mercy of their smart phones and what may or may not be in it already...
Even AirPods have battery protection monitoring the battery. This can’t be circumvented unless Apple put the means. I think they have a vested interest to not let this happen.
With the nature of those in control in Washington D.C. and elsewhere we are in the gravest of danger when those in charge can convince members of the general public that Donal Trump is so absolutely dangerous that they must go out and attempt to assassinate him. They've found graphene and other metals in all dental numbing agents, B12 injectables, budesonide inhalant used in hospitals, contact lens solutions and of all things they've found a micro docking chip in contact lens solution. Add that they pushed to get 5G towers up in a rush. So people with graphene and other metals in their body could be zapped through 5G and drop dead...or it could be used to monitor and restrict their movement. I don't know about you, but I've known these things since 'smart' phones became popular. That's the reason why I NEVER owned a 'smart' phone, until a friend of mine gifted me one about 8 months ago and which I almost never use or carry on me.
Listen, they can track you, listen to you, and watch you (via GPS and remote activation of microphone and camera, respectively). I wouldn't trust the damn things as far as I can spit.

It doesn’t preclude the possibility that Mossad got a hold of a shipment of pagers in transit and altered the pagers, or that a terrorist who wants to bring down an airliner couldn’t do the same…alter a laptop or cell phone. As a designer of these protection devices, I see no way you can circumvent what these protection devices are doing.
