And although most of these studies used sprayers for nasal application, it is much simpler to switch to just dipping a cotton swab into some mouthwash (from cap) and apply deep into each nostril.

So if you ordinarily use a nasal navage system or squeeze bottle to send 8 oz of hypertonic solution up one nostril and out the other (for allergies), how much 10% povidine iodine solution in teaspoons should one add to that 8 oz of sterile or distilled hypertonic water?
