I think a lot of this is intentional lately. Disruption, games against people's lives, FEAR.
As I recall, the airline industry was one of the strict vaxxx mandate pushers, so many experienced pilots took early retirement rather than the jab, and the pilots remaining are potentially liable to suddenly keel over from a heart attack etc. Now I am wondering whether the workers who service the aircraft may also be in the same condition, which could lead to carelessness or mistakes due to lack of experience or disturbed attention & cognition....
