What I was referring to in my earlier post about the Kennedy family's intervention to quash the release of the complete assassination files occurred in response to President Trump's intention to declassified the files no more than 6 or 7 years ago.
Tired Citizen: The Kennedy family's request to keep the full story of the JFK assassination sealed is not a new story. It was publicly reported at the time then-President Trump announced his intention to reveal the historical record. Anyone could google contemporaneous reports if interested. There was much disappointment at the time. I personally felt it was an extremely selfish position for the family to take. However, knowing what we know now, it's possible the family were pressured or rewarded in some way by certain elements to intervene.
