STATINS DO THE SAME THING. WHEN STOPPING THEM, CHOLESTEROL REBOUNDS TO A LEVEL HIGHER THAN WHEN THE DRUG WAS STARTED AND IT IS NOT CLEAR HOW LONG BEFORE IT RETURNS TO NORMAL IF EVER. This was first reported circa 2013.
STATINS ALSO RAISE FASTING BLOOD SUGAR AND HEMOGLOBIN A1C, THUS MORE IMPETUS TO START YOU ON OZEMPIC AND WEGOVY AFTER MAKING A DIAGNOSIS OF PREDIABETES, WHICH IS NONSENSE.
This obesity thing really creeped in. Growing up and through young adulthood obesity was almost never seen. And when one did see an obese person it was almost freakish looking. Today it is all you see! I still eat like I did growing up - whole foods, sugar as a rare treat ( dessert worth the splurge), water when thirsty, eat at normal meal times... at 54 no meds and still the same dress size. It is not rocket science.. everyone I know with the same normal eating habits is the same.
