If I was forced to choose between the reporting of Al Jazeera and the reporting of the Israeli state media, I’d choose Al Jazeera. I’m notifying you of my bias up front. Considering the ancestral lands of the Palestinians — who are Semites by the way — stolen by the state of Israel versus land & property owned by Jewish people that was stolen by Palestinians, there’s no comparison as to who is the greater thief. As to Palestinians murdered by the state of Israel and the state’s accomplices versus Jewish people murdered by Palestinians and Hamas militants, again, there’s no doubt as to which group is being murdered in the higher numbers.

Maybe theft and murder don’t really matter to you, when the context is which group you believe is in the good graces of GOD? I don’t know how you think.

Expand full comment

At least you admit to not knowing how I think as opposed to making assumptions.

It doesn’t matter who I think is in the good graces of God. It matters who God is and the fact that He is sovereignly in control of everything and everyone. He uses wveb our misguided, sinful choices for His purposes. He also never changes so despite Israel’s continued disobedience throughout the Old Testament, He still faithfully kept covenant with them although they were seriously and rightfully disciplined. And maybe that is happening now, too.

The holy scriptures tell us from Jesus’s own mouth — unless you reject what’s written; I don’t know how you think — that the Kingdom of GOD was taken from the Jewish people.

Parable of the Evil Farmers (Matthew 21)

33 “Now listen to another story. A certain landowner planted a vineyard, built a wall around it, dug a pit for pressing out the grape juice, and built a lookout tower. Then he leased the vineyard to tenant farmers and moved to another country. 34 At the time of the grape harvest, he sent his servants to collect his share of the crop. 35 But the farmers grabbed his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another. 36 So the landowner sent a larger group of his servants to collect for him, but the results were the same.

37 “Finally, the owner sent his son, thinking, ‘Surely they will respect my son.’

38 “But when the tenant farmers saw his son coming, they said to one another, ‘Here comes the heir to this estate. Come on, let’s kill him and get the estate for ourselves!’ 39 So they grabbed him, dragged him out of the vineyard, and murdered him.

40 “When the owner of the vineyard returns,” Jesus asked, “what do you think he will do to those farmers?”

41 The religious leaders replied, “He will put the wicked men to a horrible death and lease the vineyard to others who will give him his share of the crop after each harvest.”

42 Then Jesus asked them, “Didn’t you ever read this in the Scriptures?

‘The stone that the builders rejected

has now become the cornerstone.

This is the Lord’s doing,

and it is wonderful to see.’

43 I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation that will produce the proper fruit. 44 Anyone who stumbles over that stone will be broken to pieces, and it will crush anyone it falls on.”

45 When the leading priests and Pharisees heard this parable, they realized he was telling the story against them— they were the wicked farmers. 46 They wanted to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowds, who considered Jesus to be a prophet.

Jesus also made reference to the Jews who were of their father, the devil. And there are two references by Jesus about people who call themselves “Jews” but who lie because they are actually of the synagogue of Satan. I realize that these scriptures don’t condemn ALL Jewish people, but the Jewish people who still reject Jesus as their messiah are just as condemned as everyone else who rejects Christ. There’s nothing special about identifying as a Jew.

Thanks for your patience Stephanie. Here's a prior post I did, in part about profanity, in the context of the genius of great leaders, such as Richard Nixon and Trump, and the characteristics of genius, with a few secondary sources, in response to a post from somewhat else. I'll look for some others. You can search for the primary sources if you like. The secondary sources should lead you to the primary sources.

:

To the best of my recollection I've used profanity sparingly on this substack.

But let's keep rules to a minimum, lest we becone "rule-bound" like the Faucis and Walenskys and other over-controllers of this world.

Let's not forget that the German Nazis never shut up about ethics and morality and that the Aktion T4 euthanasia policy began after Hitler spoke to an ethicist.

Use of, and comfort with, profanity, such as the profanity used recently by Elon Musk to send a message to advertisers, or historically by former US President Richard Nixon, and in more recent times by Trump, is frequently a sign of high intelligence and verbal fluency, along with other desirable traits.

Along with profanity, laziness, tardiness or lack of punctuality, untidiness, staying up late and occasional fits of rage have all been associated with not merely high intelligence but also genius.

Let's not all be like the prim and proper vaccinators and public health bureaucrats

I prefer to trust in what God, the omniscient all powerful God who created all things has to say about it rather than fallible, sinful man.

Ephesians 5:29 tells us “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." First Peter 3:10 declares, "For, whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech." James 3:9-12 summarizes the issue: "With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water."

ames makes it clear that the lives of Christians - the "brothers" - should not be characterized by evil speech. By making the analogy of both salt water and fresh water coming from the same spring (which is uncharacteristic of springs), he makes the point that it is uncharacteristic for a believer to have both praise and cursing come from his/her mouth. We cannot praise God while at the same time cursing our brothers.

Jesus explained that what comes out of our mouths is that which fills our hearts. Sooner or later, the evil in the heart comes out through the mouth in curses and swearing. But when our hearts are filled with the goodness of God, praise for Him and love for others will pour forth. Our speech will always indicate what is in our hearts. "The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks"

You are free to agree or disagree; I am just explaining and documenting what I believe.

Hi Ellie,

Thanks for the good wishes.

Same back to you.

I'll answer you briefly now, more another time.

Bilbo (Baggins Hobbit) I figure is/are two people.

One male. Another female.

The male is less eloquent and clearly abrasive as all hell.

The female one is the exact opposite.

The gig is ostensibly ZOG hatred/self-loathing; alternatively, an antisemitism barometer.

The male one and I had some personal discussions and exchanges on the comments section. Then perhaps the female Hobbit told him not to get so close and then he deliberately alienated me by being awful. I felt hurt, but not betrayed. Internet nutters cannot betray you because you're the fool from the get-go.

I told the male Hobbit he's barking up the wrong tree. Then he dropped the veneer and said there's only space for one of us in this tree which was telling on many levels. I told him I'd unsubscribe which I did. I also told him I'd delete all personal content which I did. He said never give your name on the internet. He and she will probably read this comment.

But I couldn't care less.

I don't understand what his and her gig is and what they get out of it.

Because it's really at the most basic level just a one-liner: "Jews are cunts" with which I fully agree."

I admire your patience, but you will never penetrate his Jew-hatred. It's not mere *anti-semitism*, it's outright baked-in-the-DNA Jew-hatred.
