Here is my take.

You want Goodies. You want them really badly.

I get it.

People are situationally good.

Almost everybody that you see is going to take care of their own needs first.

If they know people, or like people. They will protect them.

If they wanted to be in the club, they will accept a plausible narrative and fight super hard but JUST DRAW LINES protecting their interests or their pals or “their way of life”.

In a very real sense, if they are close to an industry that rewards them, enriches them...they are going to take off ramps.

Is that "Controlled Opposition"? That is a spy term from Bob Malone.

In a roundabout way, sure. But not in the THOUGHT TERMINATING CLICHE way that most of the Warehouse of Hammers lives and breathes.

How can you tell if someone is protecting something?

There are a lot of metrics you could use, but again…most of you do NOT want to know.
